The "ANSES Scientific and Doctoral Days" are an opportunity for the Agency's scientists to get together and discuss their work. They also enable ANSES doctoral students to present their thesis results, through 180-second oral presentations in English for third-year PhD students, and posters in English for second-year students. At the most recent event, held on 2 and 3 October 2024, the presentations given by Kevyn Beissat and Cassandre Jeannot were named "best oral presentation" and "best poster" respectively.

In honour of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, we are inviting you to discover a series of portraits of women scientists at ANSES.

Corinne Danan is Deputy Head of the Salmonella and Listeria Unit at the ANSES Laboratory for Food Safety. She is a research engineer with 20 years of experience in the health risks associated with food.

Every year, ANSES organises discussion meetings on ongoing and recently completed research work, in order to encourage interactions between scientific teams. At these meetings, the PhD students hosted at the Agency present their theses. Mariana Mendes Ribeiro won the award for “best oral presentation by an ANSES doctoral student in 2021”, for her 180-second thesis presentation. Discover her background and research work.
